HLS on the moon
Here is the concept of SpaceX’s Starship Human Landing System (HLS) on the moon. At about 165 feet (50 m), Starship HLS will be about the same height as a 15-story building. An elevator on Starship HLS will be used to transport crew and cargo between the lander and the Moon’s surface. #spacex #starship #nasa #boneyardsafari #aviationsafari

Rotating Service Structure for the Space Shuttle
Here is the Rotating Service Structure moved into place around Orbiter Endeavour OV-105. The RSS provided protected access to the shuttle for changeout and servicing of payloads at the pad. The structure was supported by a rotating bridge that pivoted about a vertical axis on the west side of the pad's flame trench. The RSS rotated through 120 degrees on a radius of 160 feet. Support for the outer end of the bridge was provided by two eight-wheel, motor-driven trucks that mov
