We did some research about the tail cone used by the Space Shuttles when they were transported on the 747SCA. There were two tail cones, the second one built after the Challenger loss. Here is Orbiter Enterprise OV-101 in 1979 being moved from Pad A, Launch Complex 39 at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).
