LAPES at Khe Sanh

Part of the resupply of Khe Sanh involved LAPES drops of supplies from aircraft as they were flying low over of the runway. The pallet of cargo had two parachutes, a drogue chute which pulled the extraction chute out the back of the aircraft, which pulled the cargo out. #khesanh #c130 #lapes #boneyardsafari #aviationsafari
