USS Hancock CVA-19

A look back to USS Hancock CVA-19 (CV-19) after her SCB-27C conversion in 1954. The four twin 5in/38 gun mounts on the flight deck were removed and the island was redesigned and made taller, the boiler uptakes were rebuilt and angled aft to make space for the single radar and communications mast.
