Lufthansa 787 D-ABPA
Yesterday evening Lufthansa first The Boeing 787, named "Berlin” D-ABPA, took off from Fly Paine Field in Everett, WA on its way to Frankfurt Airport Germany.
This plane will initially fly within Germany for crew training, after that it will be placed on the Frankfurt to Montreal route.
According to Lufthansa "Berlin" will have an improved cabin product - including direct aisle access for all guests in Business Class.
Lufthansa currently has 32 of the fuel efficient 787s on order. The initial order was placed on March 2019.
