Dylan Phelps has always been passionate about aviation and photography. Dylan’s interest in aviation started in his home state of Oregon where he grew up attending local airshows, fly-ins, and viewing the flight operations at Portland Airport (PDX) to satisfy his love of aviation. It wasn’t until 2018 that he acquired his first Nikon DSLR and combined the two. Dylan is a self-taught photographer who has put an astronomical number of shutter cycles on his cameras to make up for his late start in aviation photography. Fast forward many years later, he now resides in North Texas and works in Flight Operations at a major US airline. As a member of the Boneyard Safari team, he enjoys challenging himself to improve with each outing and share aviation as seen through his camera lens.
